The ensemble placed 4th in our heat today with a score of 89.625! The group is moving on to semi-finals compeition tomorrow and will perform at 3:20 at BB&T arena! Stay tuned for more score updates and info tomorrow.

Good Morning LTWP!

I just wanted to send out a PSA about transportation to WGI. The ensemble will be taking 5 MSDLT white buses to WGI. These buses will be driven by parent volunteers who have passed not only a background check, but a bus safety certification. MSDLT insurance covers all participating kids and parents that are riding on the bus down to WGI. If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. I hope to see everyone tonight at the WGI Send-Off show at 9:00pm in the LN gym. Thanks all!

Rehearsal and Performance Schedule for the week of 4.16:

Monday, April 16th 6:30pm – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN

Tuesday, April 17th 6:30pm – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN

Wednesday, April 18th6:30pm – 8:45pm Rehearsal at LN and WGI Send-Off Show starting at 9:00pm

Thursday, April 19th 7:45am Rehearsal at LN then WGI Prelims show at BB&T Arena

Friday, April 20th 8:00am – 11:00am Rehearsal at "The Field" and show at BB&T Arena

Saturday, April 21st Time TBD, hopefully finals performance at University of Dayton in AM

Download the IHSAA Sports Physical form for 2018-19 and have it completed by a medical professional. This is required for participation in MPLT.

Completed forms can be turned in to the Performing Arts Office at your home school.

LN Athletics will have a Sports Physical Night on May 3rd, from 6-8 PM.

LC’s Sports Physical Night is May 21st, from 6 – 8 PM.

UPDATED Itinerary for Saturday 4/14/18

There have been some schedule changes for Saturday, click the link above for the new schedule.

Highlights of updates:

10:00am All drivers report to LN to help load
10:30am Non drivers report to LC – door 8A – to help unload
11:00am Rehearsal starts at LC
2:15pm Rehearsal ends. Load semi. Eat lunch (Provided by meal plan). Change into uniform.
After performance – Bring a dinner or money for concessions

Good Morning LTWP! The kids performed this past weekend in the 2018 IPA State Finals and came away as PSO Movement class Champions! The staff is so proud of the hard work the kids have put in and are excited to make the final push to WGI in two weeks! Attatched is the schedule for this weekend’s IPA send off-show at Center Grove.

Rehearsal Schedule for the week of 4.9:

Tuesday, April 10th 6:30pm – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN

Thursday, April 12th NO REHEARSAL- ISSMA Band Concert

Saturday, April 14th 10am Rehearsal at LN and IPA Sendoff Show at Center Grove

LTWP is in need of a CDL licensed driver!

On Thursday, April 19th 2018, LTWP will embark on a three day trip to Dayton, OH to participate in the WGI Indoor Percussion World Finals.
The group will leave during the day Thursday the 19th, and return in the evening on Saturday the 21st.

Because the competition is out of state, the usual means of equipment transportation is not available.
LTWP is need of someone who holds a CDL license with on the road experience.
A tractor will be rented from Penske to pull a 48′ instrument/equipment trailer.

Good Morning LTWP! I hope everyone had a great Spring Break. This past week the ensemble had a great rehearsal camp perfecting the show and getting ready for our STATE FINALS WOO! Attatched is the rundown for this coming Saturday at Hulman Center.

You may enter door number 16 and proceed to the main gym.

We only have 20 days left together! Lets make the most out of our time together and be great!

Good Morning LTWP!

I hope everyone has had a relaxing couple of days here on "spring break". I first want to take a moment to thank all of the parents, crew, staff and chaperones for the help this past Saturday at IPA Prelims. The snow messed up a lot of stuff for LTWP and yet our kids, crew, and parents didnt miss a beat. We were able to travel safely back to LN from Avon with out any problems. WOO Go team! We have a busy last 3 weeks of the season preparing our show for IPA State Finals on 4/7/18!

WGI Housing Info:

Performers will be staying overnight in the Dayton area during WGI Championships April 19th – 21st. We will leave school sometime on Thursday the 19th and come home very late on Saturday the 21st. We have had a change in venue for our WGI housing! To better serve our members and families we have decided to make a change in WGI housing to:

Parents that are interested in staying with the ensemble may book a room by informing Mr. Titus that you want to stay with the ensemble. We will pay for your room and bill you through LTWP. ***Parents must pay for their rooms in full by (3/20/2018), with payments made to LN Band. Room fees cannot be charged to student accounts.***

Fan Club Volunteers:

Parents are needed to help create and hang up posters and decorations at each school in the next couple of weeks, leading up to the IPA State Finals and WGI World Championships.

Parents are also needed to provide donations for, and/or help put together goodie bags for the kids!
