Hey everyone!

I just spoke with administration and it looks like we are cleared to have rehearsal tomorrow during our normal scheduled time. If for some reason it snows more we will assess how bad is, but until then plan on starting at our normal 2:00 pm start time. I’ll send out a confirmation remind text tomorrow at 10:00 am just to be sure. Can’t wait to get better with everyone tomorrow!

Rehearsal tonight 1/12 and tomorrow 1/13 are canceled due to the snow day. If for some reason MSDLT says we can rehearse tomorrow, I will send out an email. Plan on seeing each other Monday for our MLK day rehearsal. Be safe today and enjoy!

Welcome back and Happy 2018! I hope everyone had a great holiday break. The staff is excited to get back to work on our show this coming week. There is lots of info here, so please be sure to read everything.

Rehearsal Schedule for the week of 1.9:

• Tuesday, January 9th 6:30 – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN ($$$ due)
• Thursday, January 11th 6:30 – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN
• Friday, January 12th 6:30 – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN
• Saturday, January 14th 2pm – 9pm Rehearsal at LN

Tuition Payment Options: We have our next payment of our payment plan due tomorrow, please check with your schools financial secretary to make sure you are current.

Ear Plugs: Are your performers wearing them? Please remind them!

Hearing loss is a real danger for your performers. We are forced to always rehearse inside because of the elements. Please make sure you remind your performers to wear ear plugs at rehearsal.

Sheet Music & Drill (Performers):

Please use the link I sent out in our FB group to access all show files. You are responsible for keeping updated with all show materials, I will be sure you inform you as files are added to the dropbox. PLEASE NOTE: Our music was lisenced specifically to LTWP and no one else. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE any of our music mp3’s or pdf’s with anyone outside of LTWP2k18 (this inculdes alumni) . This is a violation of our copyright and could put the ensemble in jepordy.

Please make sure you are practicing everyday and using the show MP3’s as tools to learn your music. The more you know your music, the more we can master our craft!

Staying Strong (Performers):

Just a friendly remind to keep doing your physical warmups Christine worked with you. Staying physically strong will help your show!

Good Morning LTWP!

This is our last week of rehearsals before the holiday break! We will be finishing putting the first movement on the floor this week and will be playing through the show as an ensemble. Please remember this past Saturday our first payment was due. If you have not turned it in, please chck with your financial secretary to make sure your account is current.

Greetings LTWP!

Tomorrow we continue with the final day of our “Audition Week”. We will have rehearsal from 2-9 at LN. Please pack a dinner or have one brought to you. We will be in the gym so please dress comfortably and prepared to move. We have some really EXCITING things to share with you tomorrow. A couple reminders…

Handbooks:

Please don’t forget to bring your LTWP Handbooks and bring them tomorrow. If you lost your handbook, you may print one from lnband.com. You will need these in order to be considered for a spot in LTWP2k18.

Rehearsal Schedule/Calendar:

A fully updated place to check what days and times we have rehearsal and shows is lnband.com. I suggest you download the google cal straight to your phones, that way you won’t always have to check the website.

Hello Friends!

I hope everyone had a relaxing break. The LTWP2K18 season starts tonight! Rehearsal is from 6:30-9:30pm.

All Rehearsals are at LN:
Lawrence North High School
7802 N. Hague Rd.
Indianapolis, IN 46256

Park on the south side of the building and enter door # 16. We will start out with a quick performer meeting in the LN Orchestra room at 6:30pm. Do not be late!

The LN band/orchestra room will be open for LTWP students after school on LTWP rehearsal days. Please arrange food if you are staying after school.

Parents please plan on picking up students 5-10mins after our rehearsal end time. Today for example: 9:35pm would be a great time to pick up your performer.

Please check out the updated calendar online at www.LNband.com, there are several time/date changes after the new year.

I’m very excited to get to work with all of you, we have a lot of special things planned for this season. Lets be GREAT LTWP!!

Time to Celebrate! The celebration of the What’s in a Name season is tonight! November 14, from 7:00 – 8:30pm in the auditorium at LN.

All orders from Performing Arts Photography by Bateman are at LN and available for pick up tonight. Any orders not picked up tonight will be taken to your home school PA Office.

Any MPLT student with an LN school owed instrument, used during marching season needs to return them to LN before awards night. If you used an LC marching instrument, it needs to be returned at LC to Mr. James or Ms. LaMarca. Any LN student that used an LC marching instrument may return it to LN Tuesday evening. If you are using these instruments for Pep Band, you are still required to turn the instrument in to the home school director (i.e. LC instrument goes to an LC director, LN school instrument to Mr. Wallis.) It will then be re-checked out to you for pep band.

All students should take their What’s in a Name decorations, posters and stars from the band hallway.
