Newsletter 8/28/17
Rehearsals and Performances:
- Monday and Tuesday – Rehearsals at LC
- Thursday, 8/31/17 – Rehearsal at LN
- Friday, 9/1/17 – Rehearsal and LN v’s LC Football game at LN.
- The itinerary will be sent soon.
- The shuttle bus will run from LC to LN on Thursday and Friday.
Meal Plan:
- Football and Competition Season is upon us – and Meal Plan Needs Your Help!
- Section Leaders, or individual band members: The Meal Plan Coordinators need to know about food allergies or restrictions (vegetarian etc.)! Please contact Lynn Hardman at 317 432 4371 or email lynnh3545, with student names and section.
- This week’s meal is Costco hot dogs, chips and fruit.

Activity Bus:
- Activity buses operate Monday through Thursday leaving at 7pm from LC door 11 (and LN door 4 when rehearsal is there). MPLT students will be able to ride after Monday and Tuesday rehearsals.
- You must complete this short survey to be placed on the Activity Bus roster.
Student Account Payments:
- August payments are due on Thursday, 8/31/17 and outstanding balances should be no more than $200 (after payment), unless specified in your payment plan.
- All payments will be made to your home school’s booster organization:

Fan Club & Fundraising:
- Fan Club: Thursday evening rehearsals are Fan Club Nights. Parents are encouraged to come and watch the band’s progress and catch up with fellow parents. Rehearsals will continue to be in the practice lot until the stadium opens.
Apparel Orders:
- The apparel order placed on August 8th will be available for pick-up at Stadium Night on Thursday at LN, and at rehearsal on Friday.
- All MPLT apparel orders will be placed online this year. The third and final order will be placed on September 26th.
Volunteers:
- We Need Crew Help! Crew is the team that builds props, moves equipment, and is generally right in the thick of all the action! Join this fun team, please contact Tim Magill at (317) 447-8869, tbzbmagill, or David Williams at (317) 937-8523, david.williams.
- More volunteers are always needed from both schools for all events and committees. How can you get involved?
