July 4th Parade:
- Students must report to LC no later than 8:45am on Thursday morning
- Eat breakfast, drink lots of water, and apply sunscreen before arriving!
- Students will not be able to carry a water bottle with them on the parade route, but there will be parent volunteers dispensing water as we transition through the parade
- Uniform Requirements for the day:
- Color Guard: 2019 MPLT Show Shirt, black shorts, tennis shoes
- Winds & Percussion: 2019 MPLT Show Shirt, khaki shorts, tennis shoes
- Students may wear sunglasses, but no hats/bandannas
- Students will receive their show shirt at the end of rehearsal today
- Parents, come cheer us on! The Parade begins at 10am and ends at Lawrence Park at 11:15am
- We need bags of ice donated for the parade tomorrow. Click here to sign up, if you can donate

- Sell Donatos coupons and earn $5 towards your student’s account!

Band Camp Registration:
- Complete the registration requirements listed below by Wednesday, July 17th and earn a Fast Pass through Band Camp registration!
- Complete your Online Registration
- Turn in your Performer Contract
- Turn in your IHSAA Sports Physical (Note: All three sections must be completed & turned in to be eligible for the Fast Pass)
- Read the 2019 MPLT Handbook and turn in a completed handbook agreement
- Be up to date on the MPLT minimum payment plan, or establish a payment plan with your home school’s PA office
Volunteers:
- We need you! Volunteers are a crucial component of MPLT, and all parents are encouraged to help in any way they can.

Parent Preview Night:
- All MPLT family members are invited to join MPLT for Parent Preview Night on Friday, July 26th from 5pm – 8:30pm; come out and be one of the first to see their 2019 show!
- Dinner will be provided by Jug’s Catering for $10/person ($12/person if ordering after July 16th)
- Menu – Fried chicken, BBQ baked beans, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Biscuits w/Apple Butter, Lemonade/Iced Tea
- Presale dinner reservations are required. Please complete the order form and submit it, with payment, to your home school’s PA office.
Parent Meeting Information
- If you were unable to attend one of the mandatory parent meetings held during 2-9’s please take a moment and review the slideshows from each presentation. They contain critical information about the MPLT 2019 season and Band Camp
Payment Plan Reminder:
- All students participating in the 2019 MPLT season should have paid their $200 deposit by May 29th
- Payments can be submitted three ways:
- If you need to set up an alternative payment plan, please contact your home school’s PA office
