Due to concerts tonight at both LN and LC we will be missing 3/4 of the ensmble. The staff has made the decision to cancel rehersal tonight 2/7/2018. Take this opportunity to practice your music at home and review drill. We will ressume our normal scheduled rehearsal Friday from 6:30-8:30. If you have questions or concerns, dont hesitate to contact Mr. Titus.

Hello LTWP!

The LTWP Friends and Family Show is Saturday, February 10th. Enter through either door number 11 or 7 on the north side of the building. The premier of “Suspenion” is at 5:30pm in the LN main gym and is free to attend! Please spread the word and help fill the gym for our first performance of the season! Following the performance, LTWP will host a dessert reception in the LN cafeteria. LTWP is in need of dessert dontations so please sign up via the link below so we can get a gauge of desserts coming.

Good Afternoon LTWP!

This past weekend the kids took part in "Camp Titus". Performers learned TONS of new material and now have a little over half of the show on the floor with music. We couldnt have done it without all of the support from the parent volunteers, LTWP thanks you!

We have our Friends and Family Preview Show coming up on 2/10/2018. The performers will have rehearsal followed by a special performace and demo for friends and family. More details and exact times to come out as we get closer to the date. LTWP will provide a small reception of desserts and drinks in the cafiteria after the performance.

Rehearsal Schedule for the week of 1.29:

Monday, January 29th 6:30 – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN

Thursday, February 1st 6:30 – 9:30pm Rehearsal at LN

Saturday, February 3rd 10:00am – 5:00pm

Senior Scholarships!

We have two scholarships available to apply for. The first is the WGI Scholarship and the second is the IPA scholarship. I’m only allowed to enter one student into the WGI scholarship and three for the IPA scholarship.

If you are interested in applying, you must email Mr. Titus (nealtitus@msdlt.k12.in.us) with your intent and include your cumulative GPA.

Respond by the end of this Tuesday night (2-1) if you want to be considered to apply!

Planning Meeting for the 2018 My School Color Run

Looking for volunteers to help plan the race. We need many hands to make this event even more successful than last year.

Good Morning LTWP!

This weekend is Camp Titus! Performers will report on Saturday at 2:00 PM . They will stay overnight on Saturday and will be dismissed Sunday at 10:30 AM. Performers, please bring everything you need for the weekend. Sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, deodorant, athletic clothing and shoes (even pit for the game night). Showers will NOT be open. You will not be allowed to leave until Sunday at 10:30 am. Plan accordingly! Meals will be provided including Saturday dinner, Saturday late night snack and Sunday breakfast through your meal plan.

The 4th annual staff/parents VS. performer dodgeball game will take place Saturday, January 27th at 9:15pm in the LN main gym. We need parents to play! Parents who would like to participate should be ready to go at 9:15pm in the gym. Enter door #16 and proceed to the gym. The Staff/Parents are ready to play so LOOK OUT Performers!

This year the performers will be staying at the Holiday Inn in Richmond Indiana for WGI. This will be close to our rehearal site, and not too far from WGI. We are arranging an extra block of rooms for parents that want to travel to the championships. Please wait to book your rooms until we have confirmation that our extra rooms are booked, we want to make sure we get the best rate for parents. More info next week in listserve.

Good Afternoon LTWP,

We are getting several reports that the roads in and around Lawrence are not safe to drive. Although we need the rehearsal time together, your safety comes first. With that being said, we are canceling todays rehearsal. The staff has specific video assignment instructions for each section instead. Front ensemble should do C-D of Part 2 as well as B-D of Part 1 just rhythm on the floor with mallets or sticks. Battery is to practice Silence and Part 2 with a met as well as a rep of body movement at C in part 1 with a met.

We wont let the snow keep us from getting better today! You guys learned so much yesterday, let that momentum carry over into today! Keep pushing hard LTWP, Stay hungry and STAY HUMBLE. Ill see everyone tomorrow.
